A little different...

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 23, 2008, 11:08 AM
So, as I've mentioned in the past, I am a stunt performer, martial artist, and general kinetic movement enthusiast.

I work with an indie movie company out in New England, and here is my own stunt/show reel that my friends at Hyphen Movies made for me.

check them out online, yahoo or google Hyphen Movies if you're interested. Take care!

In the hospital last night.. there's something really gnarly going on with my internal organs.. you know, of the pain-inducing nature.. :cries:

The next few days will be me getting me some affordable health insurance and getting myself looked at by a doctor. Ooh.. and maybe get some new glasses. :)

New Tattoo Flash Book finally getting pieced together for page layout and misc. construction.

Comic book commision reaching a finish!

Plans, mock-ups and prototype material for solo gallery exhibit sketched, produced, and entering developmental phases.

I'm moving! Again! Why the hell not?

Some new street art pieces getting some special attention.

Other comic book fan art/sketches being pulled into the drawing ring, too.

It is a busy and illustrious time for the Productions of BK.

Chiseling out my gallery, etc...

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 16, 2008, 5:05 PM
So, I've come to the conclusion that my gallery (albeit very schiztophrenic) does not have all of the things I would like it to have.

Granted, for several reasons (both personal and professional) I don't post everything I have. But, I'm trying to form a good gallery with which to link potential clients to.

This will mean that I'll probably be "spring cleaning" my gallery over the next few months: adding, taking away, replacing... you get the idea.

My big thing is that I've done so much tattoo design, that I want to let people know that designing ink is not my promary focus by any right. (although I do love designing tattoos. It is a great enjoyment, and some day I do plan on getting involved in an apprenticeship.) :)

I still do concept work, comic book material, and a plethora of other things. (horror make-up, t-shirt/sign design, fine art, etc..)

I just need to start shaping my gallery to reflect that. :work:

What will help is when I get my computer pieced back to together and start cataloguing everything and such.

I'm excited for this summer, as I hope to finally embark on my other art ventures (gallery showing preparations, guerilla art explorations, music & art festivals, so on..)

Can't wait! :w00t:

A terrifying 12 hours..

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 13, 2008, 7:32 PM
So, the other night I stopped by a dinner party for my friends birthday. Many people there, and one of whom I owed some artwork. So I brought my art bag, which currently holds all of my tattoo flash material, all my WIP's, my owed projects, so on and so forth.. oh, and my tax return, too.

So, I toss back a few beers, eat dinner, get engrossed in casual conversation, get my meal doggy-bagged and head for home.

Next morning: I wake up, get in my car and have the sudden sensation that something is missing...

I look around, and realize.. I left my bag under my chair at the restaurant. :omfg:

I frantically call the restaurant and ask the manager if he's seen a black bag with a crapload of artwork in it.. he looks and doesn't see anything.

I drive back to the restaurant only to find that the tables we sat at last night were moved, and my bag is NOWHERE.

So I have to drive to work feeling like I just lost a son or a family member.

Luckily, a couple hours later, the manager was kind enough to call me and let me know it was placed somewhere atypical and I could pick it up.

...in the five years I've had this bag, it was the first time I've ever left it anywhere.. :cries:

It felt like I was in an endless desert, just looking, not knowing what to do. I aged several years..

But it was a happy ending, thankfully.. :p

How was your day? :)
